Engineering News-Record has named Shaw Construction the 2020 Contractor of the Year for Colorado/Wyoming/Dakotas region. Shaw Construction is a key business in Colorado’s Grand Valley, responsible for several major real estate projects including Community Hospital, the new Mountain Ridge Elementary School in Fruita and several projects for Colorado Mesa University – such as the Maverick Teaching Hotel, pictured here.
Shaw Construction has offices in Denver and Grand Junction in Colorado, as well as in Jackson, WY, and Salt Lake City, UT. 45% of the projects are managed here in the Grand Valley, according to ENR.
