FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (October 5, 2017 | Grand Junction, CO) – Bonsai Design, headquartered in Grand Junction, is the proud recipient of the 2017 EDIE Company of the Year Award! The award was presented to Bonsai Design co-founder and owner Sarah Shrader in a ceremony yesterday at the Drive|Lead|Succeed Conference hosted by the Economic Development Council of Colorado (EDCC) in Vail.
Established in 1989 by the EDCC, the EDIE Awards acknowledge outstanding achievement in economic development excellence. The Company of the Year Award is awarded to a company that has demonstrated support for the community by being active and engaging in community issues, has shown significant expansion or investment during the year, and has demonstrated support for economic development efforts.
Bonsai Design is an aerial adventure course design builder with installations across the U.S. and internationally. Bonsai Design actively participates in economic development on the western slope of Colorado and is currently working with the City of Grand Junction and Grand Junction Economic Partnership (GJEP) on the RIVERFRONT at las colonias PARK development. Sarah Shrader is also an active participant on the GJEP Board of Directors.
