GRAND JUNCTION, Colorado (March 29, 2022) – Colorado Mesa University Associate Professor of Economics, Nathan Perry, PhD, will provide the luncheon keynote address during the Western Colorado Economic Summit (WCES) on April 26 at the Grand Junction Convention Center.

“Dr. Perry is an engaging and informed speaker,” said Karen Troester, President and CEO of the Grand Junction Federal Credit Union and current Board Chair of the Grand Junction Economic Partnership (GJEP), which hosts the event. “Perry also has intimate knowledge of the state of our local economy, which makes him the ideal keynote for the Summit.”

The speaker list for the 2022 WCES was posted today on the event website – westcoeconomicsummit.com – and includes several illustrious names alongside Dr. Perry. Will Toor, Executive Director of the Colorado Energy Office, and Dan Haley, President & CEO of the Colorado Oil & Gas Association will each host a session on different aspects of the energy industry and how current trends may impact the western slope. Steve Boice and Margie Joy of the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) will lead a session on innovative housing solutions to address demand for affordable and attainable housing.
