GRAND JUNCTION, Colorado (August 2, 2021) – As a Community Partner for Colorado Companies to Watch, the Grand Junction Economic Partnership (GJEP) is pleased to announce that six companies from Colorado’s Grand Valley have been selected among the 2021 finalists:

Colorado Companies to Watch (CCTW) is an annual awards program honoring second-stage companies in Colorado. Winning companies are recognized for their past and potential growth, economic impact, community involvement, philanthropy and corporate culture.

“This is our largest batch of CCTW finalists to date, which is a testament to the growth and caliber of entrepreneurship in the Grand Valley,” said GJEP Executive Director Robin Brown. “What is exciting about this particular awards program is that it honors those companies that have surpassed those initial startup hurdles and are now becoming significant contributors to their local communities.”

Each year, CCTW holds an extensive nomination period, which results in 100 finalists from across the state. The finalists are then further whittled down to 50 winners that will be celebrated in the fall with a gala in Denver, a special section in ColoradoBiz magazine, and local celebrations organized by the Community Partners.

“The 2021 Colorado Companies to Watch Finalists represent our state’s thriving business ecosystem,” said Erin Beckstein, program director for CCTW. “We’d like to congratulate the Grand Junction Finalists and acknowledge their outstanding contribution in fueling the economic fire of Colorado. Companies like these are the growth-oriented companies that are adding new jobs, innovating industries, and enhancing communities across Colorado.”

Since 2009, CCTW has ushered more than 650 companies through the program. Collectively, they are making a powerful impact on Colorado’s economy by providing thousands of jobs and contributing millions of dollars in revenue.
