ProStar Geocorp – Tech Titan in Progress
Page Tucker, CEO of ProStar Geocorp in Grand Junction, hopes his company could be a “poster child” for advanced technology startups in Colorado’s Grand Valley. We think it already is.
The company, which offers geospatial intelligence solutions to the utilities and pipeline industries, has grown from four to over 20 employees in less than a year and is a constant state of innovation. Most recently, the company hosted the 2016 Colorado Tech Tour at its headquarters, where it showed off its new collaboration with Microsoft HoloLens.
ProStar was one of the first company’s to be accepted into the Jump-Start Mesa County tax relief program, which offers local entrepreneurial companies the opportunity to operate virtually tax free for up to eight years (learn more about Jump-Start). It simultaneously received a $250,000 grant from the Colorado Advanced Industries Accelerator Program, which promotes the growth and sustainability of advanced industries within the state.
ProStar Geocorp is committed to growing the industry in the Grand Valley. The company has actively recruited out-of-state talent to the region and has a flourishing internship program through Colorado Mesa University.
