Photo & Video Disclosure and Consent Notice

1. Media Capture and Usage Disclosure
By attending our in-person events, including but not limited to the Western Colorado Economic Summit as well as the Site Selector Familiarization Tour, you acknowledge and agree that Grand Junction Economic Partnership (GJEP) (the “Organization”) and its authorized representatives may capture photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, and digital media (collectively, “Media”).

2. Purpose of Use
The Organization reserves the right to use, reproduce, edit, exhibit, and distribute this Media for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to:
• Website content and blog posts
• Social media platforms (Including but not limited to: Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube)
• Marketing, promotional, and advertising materials
• Newsletters, digital publications, and press releases

3. Consent and Waiver of Rights
By participating in our events, you grant the Organization a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide right to use your likeness, voice, and appearance as captured in the Media at the time of the event. You hereby waive:
• Any right to inspect or approve the finished product or the copy that may be used in connection with the Media.
• Any claim to compensation, royalties, or financial benefit resulting from the use of the Media.
• Any claims for invasion of privacy, defamation, or infringement of moral rights.

4. How to Opt-Out
Your privacy is important to us. If you do not wish to be photographed, recorded, or have your likeness used on our website or marketing channels, please take the following steps:
• For Digital/Virtual Events: Keep your camera and microphone turned off during the session, or change your display name.
• For In-Person Events: Notify our staff or photographers at the check-in desk before the event begins so we can accommodate your request (e.g., by providing a specific lanyard or seating area).
• For Existing Media: If you find a photo or video of yourself on our website or social media that you would like removed, please contact selena@gjep.org with a link or description of the media, and we will remove it promptly
