The Grand Junction Economic Partnership (GJEP) is pleased to announce Curtis Englehart as the new executive director. Mr. Englehart is a self-motivated leader with a proven track record in workforce and economic development. He has nearly ten years of experience in creating strong community partnerships at the senior leadership level. 

Most recently, Mr. Englehart served as director for the Mesa County Workforce CenterPrior to joining the Mesa County Workforce Center in 2015, he served as Human Services Administrator for the Mesa County Department of Human Services. Mr. Englehart has extensive experience in strategic planning, grant writing and management and is an accomplished legislative and labor market expert. 

Mr. Englehart succeeds Robin Brown, who served as the previous executive director for GJEP until August 2021. Following Robin Brown’s resignation from the position to join Colorado Mesa University as the Foundation CEO and vice president of development, Steve Jozefczyk served as the interim director. Mr. Englehart will begin his new job at GJEP on August 3rd, 2022.
