Simply put, the Valley has one of the finest climates in the nation. In the summer enjoy clear, dry days averaging in the upper 80’s to mid 90’s, with comfortably cool nights in the 60’s. In the winter, temperatures range from the mid 30’s to upper 40’s, getting just cold enough for overnight snowfall that typically melts by midday. In spring and fall, temperatures rarely drop below the mid 50’s or above 75.
This year-round mild climate means that there’s never a bad day to golf or hit the trails, and there’s an enviable six-month growing season. But if the summers do get too hot in the foothills, or winter chills leave you craving fresh powder, just head upward into the mountains and mesas that surround the Grand Valley.
