Four local companies have been selected as finalists for the Colorado Companies to Watch awards program that recognizes growing businesses making immense strides in Colorado’s economy: Skyhook Solar, SG Aerospace & Gas, In8Sync, and JFS LLC.

Skyhook Solar is a manufacturer of transportable, industrial-grade solar generators. During their research and development phase, Skyhook Solar deployed 25 prototypes in a public-facing pilot program in the U.S. and Canada and placed five additional units in Europe. The company commenced commercial production in the fourth quarter of 2023, establishing Grand Junction as its new headquarters. In 2023, they were accepted into the Rural Jump-Start Program and are anticipated to create 38 new primary jobs within their first four years of operations in Grand Junction. Skyhook Solar has also recently announced a partnership with Lyft for their Solar Charging Station Pilot Program, utilizing their solar stations for e-bike charging.
