Grand Junction’s Skyhook Solar Charges Ahead with Colorado Companies to Watch Award Recognition
Grand Junction, Colorado (July 8, 2025)—
Skyhook Solar, a trailblazer in mobile solar technology, has been named a 2025 Colorado Companies to Watch (CCTW) award winner, recognizing the Grand Junction company’s innovation, growth, and impact as a second-stage business transforming clean energy deployment.
Manufacturers of transportable, industrial-grade solar generators, Skyhook Solar’s core technology provides clean energy to power EVs, micromobility, internet access, lighting, and emergency services. Skyhook Solar’s President and CEO, Daniel Delano, spearheaded extensive research and development efforts over two years in Carbondale, CO, where they have discontinued operations to take possession of their new facility and headquarters in Grand
Junction.

Skyhook Solar’s innovative technology has driven impact nationwide and internationally. During their research and development phase, Skyhook Solar deployed 25 prototypes in a public-facing pilot program in the U.S. and Canada and placed five additional units in Europe. Skyhook has deployed Solar Stations with WE-cycle in Aspen, Bcycle in Boulder and with Lyft Urban Solutions in Chicago and Washington DC for e-bike charging. Skyhook has partnered
with Wallbox, SWTCH Energy and LG Electronics to charge EVs in Colorado.
In 2023, the company was accepted into Colorado’s Rural Jump-Start Program with support from Grand Junction Economic Partnership. Skyhook commenced commercial production in the fourth quarter of 2024, officially establishing Grand Junction, CO as its new headquarters.The company expects to create at least 38 new primary jobs within the next four years.
