Effective January 4, Mesa County moves to Level Orange on the COVID-19 statewide dial. The order came from Gov. Polis just before the New Year, citing “a sustained decline in new coronavirus infections in Colorado over the past 13 days…” (Denver Post, 12.30.2020). Level Orange eases some restrictions, allowing more businesses to stay open and small social gatherings. More information can be found on the Mesa County Public Health website.
