March 10, 2017 (Grand Junction) – Home Loan Insurance has recently added a Commercial Insurance Account Executive position, as well as a completely new role to the company, Vice President of Business Strategy. Although these positions are new to the company, the individuals that are filling these roles are familiar to Home Loan Insurance and the community.
In February, Dennis Derrieux rejoined the Home Loan team as the Vice President of Business Strategy, where he will work with Home Loan Insurance and affiliate Home Loan State Bank for business development, implementation of special programs for the agency, risk analysis and management for customers, community relations and marketing. Dennis worked for Home Loan as a Commercial Insurance Producer specializing in Workers’ Compensation from 1996 to 2006. He then went to Pinnacol Assurance and worked as an Agency Relationship Manager from 2006 to 2017 when he came back to Home Loan. Through the years, Dennis has gained a thorough knowledge of insurance market place conditions state wide and regionally. He was heavily involved in agency mergers and acquisitions, agency budgets, sales and production goals, and risk mitigation and management for overall books of business. Dennis received his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2002.
The other familiar face to join the Home Loan team is Sean Rubalcaba. Sean recently graduated from Colorado Mesa University where he got a degree in Business Management and played for the CMU Maverick Football program. Sean was born and raised in Grand Junction, Colorado. He attended Grand Junction High School and received the Denver Post Gold Helmet for being the top student, scholar, and citizen in the state. Sean’s role at Home Loan Insurance is a Commercial Account Executive and he received his insurance license in February. Home Loan Insurance is excited about the way the team is growing. This year, December will mark the 120th year of business for Home Loan Insurance.
