April 11, 2017 – Congratulations to KodeMonkey and CoFax, the two finalists from the GoCode Grand Junction Challenge this weekend! Both teams will be headed to Boulder next to develop their ideas alongside other finalists from around the state. They will also compete in the GoCode Colorado finals on May 24 for a grand prize of $25,000.

KodeMonkey is developing a platform that connects capacity with needs in the Oil and Gas industry, one of our key sectors in Colorado’s Grand Valley. CoFax, meanwhile, is developing a resource app that will support GJEP and other economic development organizations with providing necessary data to freelancers and small business interested in relocation or expansion in Colorado.

We thank all the teams who competed for shedding a light on tech talent in Colorado’s Grand Valley, and to both finalists, we say “Break a leg!”

Go Code Colorado is a statewide business app challenge housed in Colorado Secretary of State Wayne Williams’ office. The award-winning challenge – the first and only statewide effort of its kind – brings together a community of entrepreneurs, business partners and software developers to use public data to solve business problems.  Many private sector organizations support Go Code Colorado, including the 2017 challenge summit partner, AT&T.
