December 23, 2016 – In our December Investor Spotlight in The Daily Sentinel, we featured an interview with Andy Daly at Powderhorn Mountain Resort. The resort, which officially opened for the winter season on December 15th, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and has some really exciting developments to commemorate the year. Here’s what Andy said about working at Powderhorn:

“As most people I know, I grew up skiing small resorts. So to have the opportunity to take Powderhorn to the next level, turning it into a year-round resort with the support and dedication of our local community, has been very exciting and rewarding.”

And here is what he said about working with GJEP (aside from being an investor, Andy is also on the GJEP board):

“I feel privileged to be part of a board made up of a group of individuals that have a great vision for and understanding of our county and the Grand Valley. GJEP really strives to diversify the local economy so that we move away from our dependence on cyclical businesses like oil and gas, and bring in more jobs in industries like manufacturing and high-tech.

GJEP continues to provide great leadership for the effort to reinvigorate the Grand Valley economy and every business should continue to participate in it. The more we participate, the more GJEP can do to bring jobs to the Grand Valley.”

Thank you for the kind words Andy!
