February 6, 2018 – The Colorado River-front in Grand Junction is getting a makeover. RIVERFRONT at las colonias PARK, a business park catering to the outdoor recreation industry, and adjacent public recreational development totaling $30 million, is already underway with a new amphitheater that opened last summer. Today, news broke that the City of Grand Junction plans to extend that development further west, creating a 60-acre mixed-use space in an area formerly known as the Jarvis property. Initial plans include a mix of open space as well as commercial, industrial and residential sites.
