Grand Junction Concrete Pipe Co. was originally started as a division of Corn Construction in 1958. Over the past 53 years, it has evolved into a multisite, stand-alone company supplying nearly all types of underground utilities. The employees are all enamored with Grand Junction’s endless outdoor experiences.Grand Junction Pipe and Supply has several divisions to help address underground infrastructure needs in the greater western slope of Colorado, eastern Utah, northern New Mexico, and parts of Wyoming. The oldest branch is the Concrete Pipe and Precast division, which manufactures reinforced concrete pipe and precast concrete structures for multiple types of water conveyance projects. The gravel division mines and processes gravel for both internal concrete production and a variety of construction applications including, but not limited to, roads, structural fill, and golf course sand materials. Another consumer of our gravel production is our Ready-Mix division, which supplies fresh concrete from a Grand Junction area plant.. In addition to these manufactured materials, GJ Pipe wholesales a variety of products in their Plastics division, with two branches located in Grand Junction and stores in Carbondale, Gypsum, Montrose, and Durango. Products sold from this division include plastic pipe for water, sewer, drainage, and landscaping and includes fittings, fabrics, and controls/filtration, with a variety of SKU’s exceeding 20,000. More recently, an engineering group, Water Engineering & BioResource Consultants group was established to provide specific local expertise to the engineering of infrastructure projects.Business thrives when communities are growing and upgrading infrastructure.
